Installing and uninstalling packs
Packs go in when a workspace is created. After that, you can add another pack's room of agents from Room templates, clear the sample content, or remove a pack altogether.
Only workspace owners and admins can install or remove packs.
When you create a workspace
- Your first workspace. When you sign up, Claos asks a few short questions and sets up your workspace with the pack that fits your answers.
- Another workspace. Open the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar and choose Create new workspace. After the name and URL, the Start with a Pack step lets you pick a pack, or skip it for a blank workspace.
Setting up takes a few seconds. You land in the workspace with the pack's room, project, folders and sample content in place.
Adding another pack's room later
You don't need a new workspace to try another pack's agents. On the Rooms page, click Browse templates. Room templates are built from the packs and grouped the same way: My Work, My Business and Personal. Pick one and it opens as a new room with that pack's agents and brief.
A room template adds the room and its agents only. It doesn't add the pack's project, folders or sample content.
Clearing the sample content
While a pack's sample content is still there, the workspace home shows a banner, "Demo content from the ... pack", with Clear demo data.
You can also go to Settings, General, where Installed pack lists the pack with its page and sample-item counts. Click Manage and choose:
- Clear demo data only. Removes the sample pages, projects, tasks, conversations, inbox items and memory that came with the pack. The pack's folders and agents stay, ready for real work.
- Remove everything. Uninstalls the pack: also removes its folders and agents from the workspace.
Either way, pages you've edited yourself are kept.
Starting again
A pack goes into a workspace once. To start fresh with the same pack, the simplest way is a new workspace: create one from the workspace switcher and pick that pack.
