What this room is for
Brief
Overview
This room covers the everyday running of the week, the ordinary admin that keeps everything else moving. It spans what is on today, what landed in the inbox, what a meeting actually decided, and what the week added up to once it is over. None of it is a project in itself, but when it slips, everything built on top of it slips too. The schedule is part of it, since a week can be laid out in a way that leaves no room for the work that matters. Much of the value comes from compression, turning a crowded inbox or a long meeting into the few things that need a response.
Key topics
- Daily briefing: what is on today and what deserves attention first.
- Inbox: what has landed, what needs a reply and what can wait.
- Calendar and schedule: how the week is laid out and where it conflicts with itself.
- Meeting notes: what a meeting actually decided and what it left to follow up.
- Weekly review: what the week added up to and the themes that keep recurring.
