Keyboard shortcuts

Press ? anywhere outside a text field to open the shortcut list inside Claos. The tables below show the same shortcuts. On a Mac use Cmd; on Windows and Linux use Ctrl.

Getting around

Shortcut	What it does
Cmd + K	Open search: jump to a project, page or task
Cmd + Shift + F	Open the same search
Cmd + /	Collapse or expand the sidebar
?	Show the shortcut list
Escape	Close a dialog or panel

Chat and rooms

Shortcut	What it does
Enter	Send the message
Shift + Enter	Start a new line
Cmd + E	Show or hide the conversation history on an agent's page, or the room list in a room

On a phone keyboard, Return starts a new line and the Send button sends.

Page editor

These work inside a page.

Cmd + I	Italic
Cmd + U	Underline
Cmd + E	Inline code
Cmd + Shift + S	Strikethrough
Cmd + Shift + H	Highlight
Cmd + Z	Undo

Moving around by keyboard alone

Shortcut	What it does
Tab / Shift + Tab	Move to the next or previous control
Enter	Press the focused button or open the focused link
Space	Toggle the focused checkbox or button
Arrow keys	Move through menus and lists

On a phone

There are no keyboard shortcuts on a phone. Menus and pickers open as sheets from the bottom of the screen instead.
