Favorites and recents
Favorites keep the things you use most one click away. Star a project or a page, and it appears in the Favorites section of your sidebar.
Starring something
Click the star in the header of any of these:
- a project
- a page
- a database
You can also star a page or folder from its row inside a folder.
The star fills in, and the item appears under Favorites in the sidebar. Hover over the star to see Add to favorites or Remove from favorites.
To remove a favorite, click the same star again.
Your Favorites section
Favorites sits in the sidebar above Projects. With nothing starred yet it says "Star items to pin them here".
- Favorites are yours. Other people in the workspace have their own list and never see yours.
- Each workspace has its own list. Switching workspaces switches your favorites.
- Everyone can star, viewers included.
- There's no limit on how many you can have.
Reorder by dragging a favorite up or down. From the keyboard, Tab to the item's reorder handle, press Space to pick it up, the arrow keys to move it, and Space again to drop it. The order is saved.
Click the arrow beside Favorites to collapse the section when you don't need it.
Favorites on Home
You can add a Favorites widget to your Home dashboard with Add widget. It shows up to eight of your favorites for the current workspace.
Pinning rooms and chats
Rooms and chat conversations use pins rather than stars. Hover over a room or a conversation in its list and click the pin. Pinned ones move to a Pinned group at the top of that list. Like favorites, pins are personal and follow your account to any device.
Recently visited
Press Cmd K (Ctrl K on Windows) and, before you type anything, search lists:
- Recently visited: the last eight pages and projects you opened. The one you're on now is marked Current page.
- Recently edited: what changed most recently in the workspace.
Recently visited is kept in your browser, so each device has its own list. See Search for more.
On a phone
Favorites appear in the sidebar menu, but you can't reorder them on a phone. To star a page, open Page actions (the three dots at the top) and choose Add to favorites.
