Your profile

Your profile

Your profile is account-level — the same display name and avatar follow you into every workspace you belong to. This article walks the fields you can edit, where they show up, and how to change your password.

Where your profile lives

Open Settings → Profile. The fields are at the top of the page; the password change form is lower down.

Fields you can edit

  • Display name. What teammates and agents see. Required, 1–100 characters.
  • Avatar. Upload any image up to 5 MB. The preview appears immediately; save commits the change.
  • Job Title. Optional, up to 100 characters. Useful when teammates skim a member list to know who does what.

Changes save as you make them — there's no submit button.

Changing your avatar

Click the avatar circle on the Profile page. Pick an image from your machine — JPEG, PNG, or any common image format works. The new image previews before saving; once it's uploaded, it replaces the old avatar everywhere your account is referenced.

The email field

The email tied to your account is read-only on this page. Email changes require a verification flow that isn't part of this surface — if you need to update your email, contact support.

Changing your password

Scroll to the Change password section. Enter your current password, then your new password twice. New passwords must be at least 8 characters. Save.

The change takes effect immediately. Existing sign-ins on other devices stay active — if you want to force a re-sign-in everywhere, revoke those sessions from Sessions and account closure.

Where your profile is visible

The display name and avatar surface in a few places:

  • The member list of every workspace you belong to.
  • Anywhere your name appears in the product — comments, mentions, assignments, activity.
  • The presence avatars at the top of a page when you're co-viewing or co-editing.

Tips and gotchas

  • Profile changes propagate everywhere immediately — there's no per-workspace override. The same display name and avatar show up in every workspace you're a member of.
  • The Job Title here is the member-level label that teammates see next to your name. It's separate from an agent's Job Title; agents have their own.
  • Saving a new avatar replaces the old one. There's no avatar history to roll back to, so keep a copy of the original if you might want it back.
