Plans and pricing

Claos has six plans split between personal and team tiers. Each can be billed monthly or annually, and the annual choice carries a 20% discount. This article walks through what each tier gives you, what scales with the tier, and how to pick.

The six tiers

Four personal plans for individuals, and two team plans for groups sharing a workspace and a credit pool.

TierMonthlyAnnualAI credits / monthMembers
Free$0$0100up to 5
Starter$9$7500up to 20
Plus$22$182,500up to 50
Pro$199$15925,000unlimited
Team$25 / user$20 / user3,000 / user pooledunlimited
Team Pro$50 / user$40 / user10,000 / user pooledunlimited

Annual prices are per month; the total billed once a year. Annual saves 20%.

What scales with tier

Three things grow as you move up:

  • AI credits per month. The metering unit for everything your agents do — chat turns, task runs, scheduled runs. Higher tiers give you a bigger monthly budget.
  • Storage. Free starts at 100 MB; Starter at 10 GB; Plus at 50 GB; Pro and team plans are unlimited.
  • Workspace members. Free fits five; Starter twenty; Plus fifty; Pro and team plans are unlimited.

That's it. A handful of features that often appear in pricing tables on other products are flat across every plan in Claos:

  • Agents — build as many as you like on any plan, including Free.
  • Agent teams — build as many as you like on any plan, with as many roster members as you like.
  • Running agents and teams on tasks — works on every plan. AI Schedule, Run now, recurring runs are all available regardless of tier.

What gates usage is credits, storage, and seat count — not feature lock-outs.

What an AI credit is

A credit is the metering unit for AI work. Each chat turn, each task run, and each scheduled run draws from your monthly credit balance. Heavier work — longer chains of tool calls, larger outputs, more powerful model choices — draws more credits per run.

Your balance refreshes at the start of each billing period. Unused credits don't roll over.

Pooled vs. per-user credits

  • Personal plans (Free / Starter / Plus / Pro) — your credits are yours. Nobody else draws from them.
  • Team plans (Team / Team Pro) — credits are pooled across all workspace members. The "credits / user" figure is the contribution each seat makes to the shared pool; the team-wide budget is the per-seat figure times your seat count. Anyone in the workspace can draw from it.

The pool keeps small teams from having to micromanage who gets how many credits — heavier users naturally cover for lighter ones within the same month.

Annual vs. monthly

The same plan costs 20% less when billed annually. Pick the Yearly toggle on the plan card and the price drops; you're billed once for the whole year. If you cancel before the year ends, the unused portion is refunded pro-rata.

If you start monthly and want to switch to annual later, you can — see Upgrading and downgrading.

Personal vs. team — which to pick

  • Personal plans are for individuals. The workspace can still have other members (Free supports up to 5, Starter 20, Plus 50, Pro unlimited), but credits belong to the account holder.
  • Team plans are for groups working out of a shared workspace where everyone is using AI. The shared credit pool makes the math cleaner: pay for seats, draw from the pool.

A rough cutoff: if more than one person in the workspace runs agents regularly, the team plan's pooled credits are usually cheaper than stacking individual subscriptions. If you're the only one running agents and others just read or comment, a personal plan is fine.

Tips and gotchas

  • Pricing on the plan card is what bills. The card shows monthly and annual rates side by side; what you see there is what Stripe charges.
  • Credits don't roll over. Unused credits at the end of the month go away — they don't accumulate. Plan for the month you actually expect.
  • No free trial on signup. Free is the trial — it gives you enough credits to try agents and decide whether you want to subscribe.
